Introduction.  The Model 1930 (shown above left) is our original 50Hz to 60Hz or 60Hz to 50Hz converter, designed to provide proper voltage and frequency to vintage electric clocks, turntables and other devices.  It can power a 60Hz clock or other device when only 50Hz power is available or vice versa.  But what if you want to power large backlit clocks, multiple clocks, large flip clocks, performance clippers, audio equipment such as turntables and tape players? The very affordable Athena offering almost 4x more power than the Model 1930, is the answer!

Athena is our step-up from the original Model 1930.  She is the product of choice if the Model 1930 doesn’t offer enough power, or if you may need more power in the future.  She’s also the obvious choice if your device has a 3-prong power plug, or if you need 230V output capability.

Athena will power devices up to 40 watts, or 50 watts for short periods.  Frequency can be selected from the front panel as needed, either 50Hz or 60Hz.  In addition, the device can be set with a front panel switch for either 115V or 230V AC output!  Athena can be powered from anywhere in the world regardless of frequency or voltage.  Athena will do all of the voltage, frequency, plug, and receptacle conversion you need.

With Athena, you can power virtually any clipper or shaver out there, larger turntables and tape players, and much more.  And, she travels easily.  Take her with you outside the USA to assure that you can power your 115V AC 60Hz equipment anywhere in the world, with precisely the same frequency you had in the USA.  Or, if you live in a country using 230V AC 50Hz, take her with you to power your 230V 50Hz equipment where only 60Hz is available. You will also love her very affordable price. To learn more, or to purchase your Athena, please visit our KCC Scientific website.
