NOTE: This product is specifically designed for National Self-Winding Clock Co. movements and is not intended for Self Winding Clock Co. Style A, B, C, or F movements. To power SWCC movements, please see the Model 1900L, or the Model 1900GS or RS Kits.
The 1900WG-4.5V kit contains ONE No. 6 unit (and cloth-covered wire) since this is sufficient to power NSWCC clocks. Shown in the accompanying picture is an optional No. 6 unit which can double the run time. This is a special order unit; please inquire.
The Model 1900WG-4.5V is specifically designed to drive the rare, collectible and very unique National Self Winding Clock Company (of Champaign, Illinois) movements. Most NSWCC movements have intermittent problems with contacts by design. The Model 1900WG-4.5V overcomes this issue with its built-in timing pulse which activates the coils every 6 minutes. This assures full run between winds and absolutely certain winding every time--without deteriorating the contacts. No modifications to the clock movement are needed; simply connect the Model 1900WG-4.5V to the clock's coils with the included vintage cloth-covered wires.
If you prefer the "conventional" approach of utilizing the NSWCC movement's internal contacts, simply connect the device as instructed, and it acts as a conventional "super battery" with increased current output capability provided by its special ultra-capacitor output.
Other versions of this product can be made available for special clocks such as Landis. Please inquire.
Normal run time on typical NSWCC clocks with the Model 1900WG-4.5V has been found to be nearly 2 years in most cases.

A special thanks to Ray Brown for his help in evaluating prototypes, determining the proper parameters needed to drive the NSWCC movements, the company history, and for the great picture included below.
Important Note: Clock winders and synchronizers are built in batches once per month. Please be prepared for a 3-4 week lead time on these. Timing products (such as the Model 1900S and 1900W series) require pre-shipment calibration and verification which requires time to validate quality performance (2 weeks).
Unless otherwise noted at Checkout, a handling fee of $5.00 is included in each order (also covers packaging material) in the continental United States. Therefore the total shipping number shown in Checkout is the sum of the actual fee (from the carrier, usually UPS) plus this handling fee. Our standard carrier is UPS 3-Day in the USA and UPS International outside the USA.
We try to maintain a policy of "no minimum order dollar amount," but handling fees cannot be avoided.
Policy on return shipping: Customer assumes responsibility for shipping and handling costs, regardless of reason. Restated: Customer pays for return shipping and handling in all cases, including warranty returns.
Ken's Clock Clinic reserves the right to adjust shipping fees or carriers to accommodate order size. If an adjustment is necessary you will be notified prior to shipment. This especially applies to international orders, although we strive to provide and adhere to best estimate possible at time of order.
